Procurement of Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 132 KV, 25 MVAR Capacitor Bank in 132/20KV 24 Hoot Substation, Herat
Project Description: Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) proposes to construct a new 132kV Bay for 25MVAR Capacitor Bank in the existing 132/20 KV 24 Hoot substation, Herat. The 24 Hoot substation is fed from 200 MVA Transformer of 400/132KV Torbat –E-Jam substation in Iran through Double Circuit Transmission Lines. In addition to the Voltage Regulation by the Tap changer of the above transformer, it proposed to install one set of 25MVAR Capacitor Banks in the 132KV Bay available for future expansion in the 24 Hoot substation. The 24 Hoot substation has Bus Section Circuit Breaker with both sides Disconnectors in its 132KV bus bar.
