220/20 kV Substation in Bamyan and Expansion of 220/kV Doshi Substation
Project Description: Bamyan substation Project was awarded to XEPC on the March 2018. This project located in Bamyan province. The project consists of a 220/20 Kv substation, and extension of work at 220/20 Kv Doshi Substation. The substations will feed 20 Kv Bamyan network. The 220 kV outdoor switchyard shall have a double busbar arrangement and include 2(two) line bays, 2(two) transformer bays, 1 (one) bus coupler bay, and busbar voltage measuring at each busbar. In order to allow for future extension the busbars. the Contract document Has been signed on 22-April-2018, Advance payment Guarantee has been submitted on 13-06-2018, and advance payment has been given to XEPC, the project Kickoff meeting with contractor was held on 02-07-2018 and discussed on important issue off contract.

Expected Results: The main objectives of the project are enhancement in the capacity of Substation System by adding a new substation at Azhdar valley of Bamyan.The substation project scope includes survey, design, supply, installation and commissioning of plant in Substation of Bamyan And extension of Doshi Substation . The susbstation will support a total number of estimated beneficiaries in 20000 residential consumers respectively.
